Protestant wedding ceremonies in Venice can be celebrated in different places, from ancient churches belonging to active protestant communities in town to private villas or hidden gardens.

Here below a list of protestant churches where you can have your ceremony.


This is the only Anglican church in Venice and it is situated in Camo San Vio, in Dorsoduro. It is hosted in a Patrician palazzo once the warehouse for the Venezia-Murano and Msaic Company.
The service will be a blessing and you will need to get legally married before the ceremony and show your marriage certificate to the Chaplain.


This building hosts the Evangelical Lutheran community which is the oldest in Italy and outside of Germany. It is situated in Campo degli Apostoli, in Canareggio.
The former oratory of the Holy Guardian Angel now serves as a church and it’s there that you can have your wedding ceremony.


Since the second half of the 19th century Palazzo Cavagnis has been the heart of the Waldesian community with a dedicated church for ceremonies and events.
